We are a volunteer-based organisation. We aim to make a difference in Weymouth by connecting our community, and contributing to the development of services and facilities that benefit our members and friends.

The Committee of the Weymouth Progress Association Inc. meets regularly in the Weymouth Hall.
We hold general meetings at least two times each year.

Current sub-committees include the Environment Sub-Committee, the Fire Management and Community Recovery Sub-Committee, the Old Caravan Park Sub-Committee, and Maintenance Sub-Committee. A Sub-Committee is usually formed for our Easter Market and for other special events.

Our Strategic Plan is full of great ideas from our community that the Committee takes on as projects. The Committee is usually working on more than one project at any time. From January each year, our volunteers will be preparing for our Easter Market and other great events like the Sandcastle Competition and Christmas in July.
